About the Brand:
Rebellion is a clothing brand founded by Ava Knight and Zoe Bennett from New York, driven by the desire to break free from fashion's constraints and empower individuality. With a focus on bold self-expression, Rebellion combines grunge-inspired aesthetics with sustainability. The collection features casual wear that challenges the ordinary, using distressed fabrics, oversised fits, and striking details to create a fierce, powerful look.
The design process began by merging two contrasting inspirations: the boldness of the Guy Fawkes mask and the iconic rpresentation of Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol. This fusion captures the brand's essence—feminine charm and fierce defiance. Initial sketches explored these elements. The final logo features a stylised female face with dark red lips and sunglasses, embodying a rebellious punk attitude with a touch of glamour.
